A Still Quiet Place

The Still Quiet Place is a place of peace and happiness that is alive inside of you.

You can find it just by closing your eyes and breathing.

Why don’t you try it now?

The Still Quiet Place is a comforting place to visit, especially if you are having a bad day – feeling angry, sad, scared, or lonely. As you learn to meet your thoughts and feelings in the Still Quiet Place , you may discover that they are not as powerful as they seem.

Children, teens and adults who visit the Still Quiet Place find life is more enjoyable; they are kinder to themselves, and calmer and more creative when they are having difficulties with friends, family, school, sports and other activities.

One of the easiest ways to find the Still Quiet Place is to practice Mindfulness. Mindfulness is simply paying attention to life here and now with kindness and curiosity. Try it; close your eyes and just listen to the sounds around you –

You just practiced a form of mindful listening! You can learn to bring this same type of pure listening to your thoughts and feelings. And when you listen to your thoughts and feelings with kindness you may naturally discover more peaceful ways to live your life.
