See it. Stop It. Heal it: Ending Cycles of Abuse in Sports and Society

It is imperative that children and adults learn to recognize and prevent all forms of abuse in sports and society. Focusing on the flagrant USAG, USOPC, and FBI failures and the egregious sexual abuse is way too little and way too late.

As with other epidemics, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse can be stopped. Together, we can create comprehensive systems of prevention, so that no child has to suffer the injuries and live with the scars of abuse, much less testify in front of the U.S. Senate.

In devotion to healing, prevention, and justice, I offer a brief account of my story. In August of 2020, a neuropsychologist determined that my relationship with my life coach of 31 years, Georgina Lindsey, of Naked Grace Transformational/ Evolutionary Coaching, was one of “undue influence” (aka covert emotional abuse).
